Youth Leadership Academy

The Famhealth Youth Leadership Academy course was launched in 2012 and since inception 209 grade 11 learners graduated after completing a comprehensive ten-month course. At the end of each course a formal graduation ceremony is held to celebrate and honour the youth leaders. No fees are charged for the course.

We acknowledge Nelson Mandela University (Prof Darelle van Greunen of the Centre for Community Technologies) for partnering with Famhealth from 2012 to 2019 at which point the partnership was terminated by mutual agreement. It is now the Famhealth Youth Leadership Academy.
